Unique Diamond Engagement Rings Trends

Like any other trend in the fashion world, the trend of diamond jewelry too is extremely vibrant and dynamic. And if it comes to choosing a diamond engagement ring, this ever-changing market trend sees its peak.

Definitely, some designs of such rings can't escape unnoticed if the would-be grooms are constantly looking for the best choice available to impress 'her' in the most effective manner.

So if you are one of those who are going to get engaged this summer, you need to find out some amazingly exciting and attracting rings which will help to bring a pleasant and innocent smile on her face. Thus, lets see what are hottest in the block!

Solitaire Diamond Engagement Rings : Such things are found to be the most appealing diamond jewelry by the soon-to-be-engaged ladies. The timeless and simplistic shape and design of this solitaire version becomes a huge factor to make a special place in the hearts of almost 4 out of 5 women these days.

However, this all-time-hit fashion jewelry can be found with some innovations too in its design. Unlike the most popular versions of solitaire rings in which the diamonds are given an 'elevated position,' the modern solitaire rings are coming with diamonds with a 'lowered placement' too.

Pave Diamond Engagement Rings : This is another classic version which prove to be the first choice of many wives-to-be. This is more popular for the way the tiny diamonds are patterned in an artistic and decorative way on its surface.

Looking at the rows of closely-fixed' diamonds, with their bases wrapped with costly metals such as gold, placed within the holes made on the surface of the ring is a treat to watch. Most importantly, these diamond jewelry can be found at cheaper rates despite being made of using a cluster of diamonds.

Colored Diamond Engagement Rings : This 'colorful' jewelry trend is here to last for long. Such rings look bold and are being considered as the next big thing in the market of summer marriage. Such rings are being bought by those who want to give their girls a hint of their bold and colorful nature.

So if you are planning to buy a ring this summer, look out for something made of diamonds in pink, yellow, purple etc and the make the engagement ceremony as colorful as possible. Definitely, the color of this diamond jewelry trend is not going to fade way easily, literally. Be sure.

All-diamond Engagement Rings : Probably, this is the only stuff in the market which you can call a pure 'diamond' ring in its most literal sense. You will find diamonds placed not only in the center, but this is a special ring stuff which has tiny diamonds placed all around the ring. Thus you will not able to see even a fraction of the metal which the ring is made of.

However, this can be costly at some extent. But the gentle smile on the face of your girl, which this sparkling stuff is capable of bringing will patch up the holes in your wallet too easily.

Triple-diamond Engagement Rings : This is the most unique and the latest one. The three diamonds placed on the ring have got a philosophic connotation as each of them manifests your days before engagement, your day of engagement and your day after engagement, respectively.

So if you want to tell her how committed you are to her, don't wait to buy her this beautiful stuff made of three glittering diamonds. These diamonds can be placed on this diamond jewelry in various patterns. They can be slightly raised or placed on a 'twisted top' or placed evenly on the surface. Also the diamonds can come in various colors and shapes too such as oval or square etc.

Costume and Fine Jewelry

Remember when you were a young girl and your grandmother let you go through her -junk Jewelry-? If only she had keep some of it. Her junk jewelry was actually what we would now call vintage costume jewelry. Of course mixed in with her costume jewelry was the typical fashion jewelry. But, even today some of that fashion jewelry (plastic bangles) and the like would have been considered vintage costume jewelry. In the last decade the buying and selling of costume jewelry has become a big business. American costume jewelry became popular in the 1930's. Initially costume jewelry was created to mimic precious stones and metals such as gold and silver.

Costume jewelry back then was fairly inexpensive, often meant as a disposable accessory to be worn with a specific outfit. Most pieces were in fashion for a short period of time then became outdated-certainly not pieces of jewelry to be handed down through generations. At least that is what they thought back then. Gemstones of varying quality are very commonly seen in vintage costume jewelry as well as fine jewelry. Some gemstones are created in laboratories and have scientific names such as morganite or corundum. They are by no means imitation rather they are just not found naturally in nature. The quality can range of course when you look at price tags. Especially when you are considering purchasing fine jewelry. Some people simply cannot afford to purchase several pieces at once. If you are determined to start adding some pieces to your jewelry box you could consider and diamond or a sapphire cocktail ring. It may sound luxurious and expensive but you can often find some really good prices on fine jewelry at fine jewelry establishments.

Many websites sell gemstones at wholesale prices too. If you are really serious about starting a collection of bracelets, necklaces, sterling silver pieces or even diamond ring and gemstone rings, consider asking for them as gifts for your birthday, holidays, and other special occasions such as an anniversary. Sometimes we want it all. Whether we are purchasing a fun pendant necklace or a chunky beaded bracelet, it is fun to buy trendy pieces of jewelry. The same goes for when we add that vintage brooch to our dress coat or we slip on our new elegant gemstone ring for a cocktail party. Most of us like variety and for that very reason - you should think about mixing up your jewelry accessories no matter if it is trendy fashion, vintage or fine jewelry. As a side note: Considering that fashion jewelry once labeled as everyday and even uncollectible became collectible vintage jewelry, you may want to think about holding on to your own box of -junk jewelry.-
